Word Conference

March 3-9, 2024

This full week of intensive teaching (Sunday through Saturday) offers in-depth, all-day sessions as students learn and grow in an atmosphere saturated with God’s presence. It also affords the opportunity to receive personal ministry and impartation, enhancing the learning environment. It’s a week that changes hearts and minds, increasing students’ hunger for the Word of God and thirst for His presence!

During the intensive, four classes are offered, worth a total of 12 credits. Anyone may attend these Word Conference classes for personal enrichment, without charge. For those who desire to take the classes for credit to work toward a degree, the following costs apply:

  • Tuition is $100.00 per class.

  • Registration fee is $50.00.

  • Textbooks to complete required homework for four courses cost approximately $75.

  • Digital Downloads of the teaching may also be purchased but are not required.

2024 COURSES

WOMEN IN MINISTRY – Taught by Dr. Jeff Johns

Galatians 3:28 —  There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

God is releasing an army that has not been utilized in its fullness around the world! In Jesus’ ministry, women serving in leadership positions were affirmed and empowered by the Holy Spirit. In Acts 2:17-18, Peter quotes the Old Testament prophet Joel and says that when the Holy Spirit is poured out, men and women will prophesy. The Apostle Paul commended many women in leadership, including Phoebe, Priscilla, Junia, and others. This class will open eyes to the refreshing truth about women’s place in ministry, helping the student distinguish between the heart of the gospel and the cultural application of the gospel.

THE TABERNACLE OF DAVID: A Prophetic Picture – Taught by Dr. Jeff Johns

Acts 15:15-17 — And with this the words of the prophet agree, just as it is written: “After this I will return and will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down; I will rebuild its ruins, and I will set it up; so that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord, even all the Gentiles who are called by My name, says the Lord who does all these things.”

How David designed the tabernacle by the Holy Spirit’s leading is full of prophetic truth and New Testament anointing. He was guided by the Holy Spirit in the manner with which he governed the courses of ministry and service to the Lord. This class will explore the importance of this tent of worship before the throne of mercy — one set up through the leading of the Holy Spirit by a man after God’s own heart. The tabernacle of David is a beautiful prophetic picture of the position of the believer!

THE BELIEVER’S AUTHORITY – Taught by Dr. Jeff Johns

Luke 10:19 — I have given you authority…to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.

Jesus did not leave behind a powerless church when He ascended back to heaven. To the contrary, He imparted divine authority to those who follow Him, along with Holy Spirit power to accomplish great things for Him on this earth. Every believer has been given the authority to overcome the enemy’s attacks and to be released into the fullness of the promises of God. This class will emphasize the work of the Holy Spirit in your deliverance and freedom and underscore how to minister that freedom to others!

RISK MANAGEMENT FOR MINISTRIES – Taught by Dr. Jeff Johns

Proverbs 18:10 — The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.

This class is created in response to the many requests of, “How do you do this?” A priority at White Horse Christian Center is the safety of all those who enter our doors. That safety goes far beyond just mitigating the risk of physical harm. It includes keeping all our assets secure and protected so that what has been built here will remain for generations to come. Every pastor, church board member, leadership team, children’s and youth worker, should consider taking this class. Each day, across the globe, local churches are closing their doors due to ignorance of the devices designed by the enemy to destroy the church. It would serve every church member well to be aware of and know how to protect your church from these attacks. Pastor Jeff will share with you solid, proven, Holy Spirit led procedures and policies to keep your members safe and your churches flourishing.
