Word Conference

The One-Week Intensive
March 3-9

White Horse School of Ministries is a unique, non-traditional school of learning. Our students are instructed by being immersed in what we call “cutting edge” or “what-the-Spirit-is-saying-to-the-church-now” teaching. It is practical, relevant, biblically-based teaching with precept and examples. That is why we require those who are seeking a degree to include classes taken at our March Word Conference One-Week Intensive.

This one full week of intensive teaching (Sunday through Saturday) offers the opportunity to receive personal ministry and impartation from the instructors. Anointed and experienced Bible teachers teach in-depth, all-day sessions as students learn and grow in an atmosphere saturated with God’s presence.

During the intensive, four classes are offered, worth a total of 12 credits. Anyone may attend these Word Conference classes for personal enrichment, without charge.

For those who desire to take classes for credit to work toward a degree, the following costs apply:

  • Tuition fees may vary from year to year. Classes are usually billed at $100.00 per class.

  • Students must also purchase textbooks to complete the required homework (approximately $75.00).

  • CDs, DVDs and Digital Downloads of the teaching may also be purchased but are not required. (Please note that costs are subject to change without notice.)

The 2019 Word Conference offers you four dynamic classes, rich in the Word and practical for your life and ministry. As always, the purpose of this week-long intensive is to immerse you in an atmosphere saturated with the presence of God. Our students not only learn the Word, but often experience healing and freedom during these anointed sessions and times of worship. We know this week in the Word will have a profound impact on you!

During the conference, as always, there is time appropriated for personal ministry and impartation, as directed by the Holy Spirit. Lunch is served daily, and the relationships you forge during this time will be meaningful and may last a lifetime.

Prayerfully consider joining us in March. You may attend all the classes for personal enrichment free of charge. You will be presented with an opportunity to work toward a White Horse School of Ministries degree. If you are already a student or you’d like to apply as a first-time student, you may now do all that online, including make a payment. Register soon so we may plan for your arrival!

Leadership Strengths and Strategies:
A Study of Nehemiah

Taught by Dr. Jeff Johns

“So I prayed to the God of heaven. And I said to the king, “If it pleases the king, and if your servant has found favor in your sight, I ask that you send me to Judah, to the city of my fathers’ tombs, that I may rebuild it.” - Nehemiah 2:4-5

Nehemiah is a model for leadership. He knew God. He knew the scriptures and he was a man of prayer. Everything he did was with efficiency and excellence. He knew how to petition authority, evaluate a situation, cast vision, motivate people, and delegate wisely. He recognized opportunities and, using good judgment, sought the resources to solve problems. The leadership strengths and strategies used by Nehemiah will be examined in depth, underscored by Pastor Jeff’s many years of applying these very strategies to his life and ministry.

Possessing The Wealth of Canaan

Taught by Dr. Jeff Johns

“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” - 3 John 2

God wants His people to prosper. Prosperity is not a “message,” it is a doctrine – and to truly prosper it must be done God’s way, according to His Word. Canaan is a spirit that draws people away from God and drives them to lust for the things of the world, leading to debt and enslavement. The Bible tells us that whatever the world is storing up will eventually be harvested by the righteous sons and daughters of God! This class will prepare the student for the harvest that is coming into the hands of the body of Christ to be used to advance the gospel.

The New Testament Church

Taught by Dr. Jeff Johns

“…on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” - Matthew 16:18

Jesus is building His Church! We must build what HE is building – God’s redeemed community on the earth. God’s design for the New Testament Church is for it to be relevant today – healthy, strong, vibrant, excited, alive, filled with the Holy Spirit and guided by Him! This critically important course will provide the believer with a proper understanding of the local church and how it is to function within the believer’s life, as well as how the individual believer is to relate to the corporate body of Christ.

The Book of Ephesians: To The Praise of His Glory

Taught by Dr. Jayna Mullen & Dr. Bobby Kirkley

“…the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power…”
- Ephesians 1:18-19

Paul’s Epistle to the church at Ephesus is filled with reminders that God’s kingdom is open to all those who put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ, to the praise of His glory. Our focus in this class will be on the glory of God in His Church – the Glory of God as brought about by the gospel, and the Glory of God in man’s obedience to the gospel of Christ, “in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.” (Eph. 2:22)
